Horse and Rider Kit

This kit includes: design on linen; quality threads; needle; comprehensive instructions; Stitching Guide; Alphabet Chart. The Stitching Guide contains photographs and concise instructions with tutorials also being available online.

The design is transferred onto 100% pure linen, ready for stitching (except for lettering, see below*). Comprehensive instructions are included with a separate Stitching Guide and Colour Chart. The Colour Chart is clear with clarity made between any subtle colour tones. The design size is 31 cm (height) x 28 cm (width).

*I have left the wording a personal choice for you. The words written on the photographed design are Latin words as found in the historical tapestry. Included in the kit is an Alphabet Chart so that you can transfer/trace the message of your choice onto your project.

  Hello Helen, this kit contains the stem; satin stitching ‘Bayeux’ style; and couching stitches found on YouTube (with a small amount of French knots). These are the three stitches predominantly used in the original Bayeux Tapestry.
