I live in Toowoomba, Australia.  It is a great privilege to be able to immerse myself in medieval stitching.Pic4

I have loved all things medieval since I was a little girl.  I would often pour over medieval tapestries and manuscripts, often through a magnifying glass.  The Bayeux Tapestry has been a particular favourite, with its details of feasting, horses, hunting birds and hounds and the tantalising glimpses of daily life.  It is with great joy that I share the hours I have spent lost in its story, its colours and its particular combination of stitches used by the embroiderers of the 11th Century.

I am passionate about sharing medieval creative processes.  I also paint medieval illuminations and make mead.  I hope you enjoy these projects as much as I have enjoyed bringing them to you.  I am enthusiastic to support you in your medieval projects and welcome you to contact me at any stage of your creative medieval project – all the very best, Kerry.
