Harper’s Heart, my daughter’s favourite, is a design based upon sketches from a Celtic manuscript.  The sketches accompanied a collection intended to preserve Gaelic oral folklore from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, called The Carmina Gadelica.

The Harper’s Heart kit has the design prepared on 100% linen, quality threads and needle.  Comprehensive instructions, Colour Chart and a Stitching Guide are also included.  The Stitching Guide contains concise instructions with photographs with step-by-step tutorials also being available online.  The design size is 17 cm (width) x 24 cm (height).  The stitch is an authentic 11th Century stitch.
